Some Important Information Regarding your PDI Software

 To safely remove the USB hardware key:

 click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon
 right-click on the USB hardware key
 click “Eject” from the menu
 wait until Windows displays a message that it is safe to remove the key, otherwise
you risk the chance of losing your license information
 in general, this procedure should be used whenever you are removing a USB drive
for any reason
 The latest version of PDA-W is 2016.125.
 to check your version: Help -> About
 To read PAX data (.W01 files) with the PDA-S software you will need to install the latest
version of the PDA-W program.
 Install PDA-W and/or PDA-S before installing PDIPLOT2.
 PDIPLOT2 can read both PAX and 8G data files.
 to read PAX files (.W01 files), the latest PDA-W must be installed
 to read 8G files (.PDA files) PDA-S must be installed
 the PDA-S hardware key (blue) must be plugged into a USB port, or you
must have a valid PDA-S software license
 When you are using the PDA-S program and you need to do CAPWAP® adjustments,

click on iMENU , then CAPWAP ; this will bring up the CAPWAP Adjust dialog
box.
 You can easily check to see if you have the latest versions of the CAPWAP and PDA-S
programs
 CAPWAP – To check your version, select Help->About CAPWAP. If a newer
version is available it will say on
the “Built” line in the “About
CAPWAP” box.
  PDA-S on your Computer: to check if your PDA-S software is the most current
version select Help->About.
The software version that is
currently installed on your
computer is listed toward the
top of the dialog under
CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES. To
find out the latest version of
the PDA-S software, click the
Version Check button. The
PDA-S also details the
installed PDA-W version.

 PDA-S on the 8G: the 8G unit must be connected to the Internet. To check if your
PDA-S software is the most
current version select
“About” from the opening
screen. The software version
that is currently installed on
your device is listed toward
the top of the dialog. To
determine the latest version
of PDA-S, click on the
“Version Check” button.
