Environmental protection standards: refer to relevant laws and regulations on environmental protection, the environmental protection technical standard specification for management of hazardous substances and materials required by Party A, or the latest environmental protection technical standards required by Party A's customers, including but not limited to EU ROHS directive and reach regulations. Party A or Party A's customers may revise their environmental protection technical standards according to the actual situation. The revised environmental protection technical standards shall take effect from the effective date determined by both parties through negotiation and apply to any products provided by Party B. vi. Product Safety Standards: refer to relevant safety standards (including but not limited to fire, smoke, burnt smell, electrical shock, bleeding by sharp edge and other injuries to the user), required by the Safety Agencies of the Countries of destination where the product will be commercialized. (Eg. UL, NOM, etc). vil. Regulatory / Compliance: refer to other required standards (for example: Energy saving, Communications) required by others Agencies of the Countries of destination where the product will be commercialized. (Eg. CEC, IFETEL, etc). vii Lot reject rate: the ratio of unqualified lot returned products to the total lots of incomingproducts in that month, expressed in percentage. ix. Defective Product: refer to products that do not conform to product specifications, acceptance standards, safety standards, regulations, environmental protection standards, product recognition and have any manufacturing, design, material and other defects, or may cause personal and property safety hazards. The term “defect” in this sub clause includes explicit, implicit and defects that cannot be found by ordinary inspection. x. Warranty period: refers to the period during which Party B guarantees that the products are free from defects during storage, production and use in a suitable environment, calculated from the date of shipment by Party B. Party A, will be responsible for possible damages and storage in its facilities. xi. “AQL” means Acceptable Quality Level, xi, “IQC” means incoming Quality Control. xi.__ “EOL” means the End Of product Life
