World’s Best Daddy Medal

You will need:

• Paper plate
• Yellow and gold paint
• Ribbon
• Safety pin
• Sticky tape
• Craft letters and shapes
• Glue stick

1) First, paint your paper plate with the yellow paint. Make
sure the whole plate is coated completely.
Paint around the rim of the paper plate with the gold paint.
Allow the paint to dry.

2) Next, when the paper plate has dried, spread a small

amount of white glue in the centre of the plate.
Arrange the craft letters into the phrase, ‘World’s Best
Daddy’ or another phrase you like.

3) Add dabs of glue around the rim of the plate and place
the craft shapes on top into a pattern.
Allow the glue to dry.

4) Turn the paper plate over and spread glue at the base of
the plate.
Place the ends of the ribbons over the glue so that the ends
trail down underneath the plate.
Allow the glue to dry.

 5) On the back of the paper plate, place a safety pin in
position and secure it with a piece of sticky tape.
This will now be able to be worn as a badge.

6) Trim the ends of the ribbon with two diagonal lines to

make an arrow.
