I chose this character, Groop, because he is part of the main story and is an interesting

character with a lot of past information that helps the plot move forward.
Also, a great reason why this character is so interesting is because it has a lot of ways to
improve his backstory and fill in the missing information. One of my favourite things in which
i enjoyed most for editing his identity was by making Groop have an odd yet specific job.
Being a hitman.
My monologue for Groop does in fact belong after the main event of the murder in the house
and countless years after that in his new home, behind bars. This monologue also helps
develop the plot by adding more to his backstory in order to make that his goals. For
example, In the monologue, Groop mentions that his dad beated him and his mom up and
now he wanted to search for him until he died.
For the aspects of personality, I tried to keep it as if Groop had no emotions and was a
mysterious character only feeling rage and anger as well as having a mischievous
personality.
An example of this goes all around the monologue. As he speaks, you can feel his heavy
breathing of a murderer and also never really described his emotions all around his words.
Another great topic is the backstory, this took up most of my monologue. His backstory
mostly consisted of him describing how much he hated his father and how he was caught
and put in jail after the assasination of the Crum family. As mentioned. This is his backstory
because he is now a very old man already wrapping up to the age of 70 but still wanting to
get revenge on his father.
As mentioned before, Groop has had connections with the Crum family, he was treated
unfairly and still, he maintained his patience.
