Job Descriptions for Nurse
Title: Nurse
1- Summary of Responsibilities:
Nurses work as part of a team of professional and medical staff that includes doctors,
social workers and therapists.
Antenatal care, delivery, postnatal care, family planning, examination and treatment of a
certain number of gynecological diseases with the advice of the clinic doctor, reporting
of problem cases, registration and regular and timely reporting of activities.
2- Description of Duties
assessing and planning nursing care requirements
providing pre- and post-operation care
monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
writing records
supervising junior staff
organizing workloads
providing emotional support to patients and relatives
tutoring student nurses
24-hour shift work can be a requirement of the job.
Inspecting related equipment and non-consumable supplies on a quarterly basis and
reporting to the clinic manager.
Active participation in health education, giving health education to pregnant mothers
and in relation to family planning.
Referral of mixed events and problems to higher levels through the clinic manager.
Accurate and regular registration and reporting of all activities.
Preparation to participate in training courses.
Try to create a friendly atmosphere between employees and customers.
Regular and active participation in clinic meetings.
Constant attendance at the duty station.
Strict compliance with the laws and regulations of the organization.
Compliance with Islamic, moral and social laws
Assess patients prior to surgery and ensure a sterile environment.
Properly plan operations by having all supplies prepared.
Prepare patients on operating room table.
Communicate with surgeons, pass instruments, and monitor patient vital signs.
Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub

Experience:
three years' experience of working in intensive care setup in government or private
sector is preferred. Exceptional applicants with less experience may also be considered.

Skills Required

Having the necessary information about basic health care and the health system.
Knowledge and skills about registration and reporting system.
Knowledge of the methods of analyzing blood, sputum, milk, water, urine, food
products, contaminants, soils, and industrial and municipal wastes.
