What is E-Commerce ?

 E-Commerce or electronic commerce is the trading of goods and


services on the internet.

 Opening an online store eliminates many boundaries associated with a


physical retail store. e-Commerce stores can sell nationwide and even
worldwide if desired. This exponentially increases your potential
customer base by hundreds of millions if not billions. Any person with
access to the internet is able to search for, find, and purchase products
that would have been previously limited geographically.

What is E-Commerce ?

 Another feature that increases sales is the fact that online stores do not
close. They are open 24/7 and 365 days per year. This means checkout
can happen anytime day or night.

 Your business should not just have an online presence, they should
have very active ecommerce operations.

 In Ecommerce, the customers cannot physical touch and handle the


products. This is a major obstacle in convincing them to buy. As such,
the success of Ecommerce becomes critically dependent on great
product or service imagery.

E-business primarily involves the application of digital technologies to business processes within the firm.
