Also ensure that your student number is correctly captured on the multiple choice answer sheet should you be required to complete one. ‘You may not have any books, writing paper, notes, manuscripts, electronic media (cellphones, smart devices, laptops, etc.) in your possession, unless otherwise stipulated in this examination question paper. Please ensure that your answer booklet and question paper are collected by an invigilator at the end of the examination session. It is in your interest to write in a legible ‘manner, _ [Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation (25 marks) - _] Question 1: A 55 year old male is day two post sternotomy for a coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). On examination Subjective: He has a history of Angina. Married, lives with wife and daughter in a flat on the fourth floor. He is the breadwinner and works as a sales representative for an insurance company and drives. He is a smoker and has diabetes. He likes to watch television and read the newspaper. He is on an oxygen mask and is awake and alert. On auscultation he has reduced air entry mid and basal lobes bibasally with fine crepitations in the right middle and basal lobes. He is unable to clear secretions. 1.1 Describe two (2) modifiable and two (2) non modifiable risk factors for angina. (2+2=4) 1.2 Discuss your treatment or management of this patient in the following phases of recovery: a, Acute Phase (6) b. Intermediate Phase 6) ¢.
