DOWNTIME ACTIVITIES

Downtime activities can be as short as @ week or last as long as a manth. They add a random element of,
variety in play as well as a means to make extra XP, amongst other surprises. Thefirst four [carousing,
saced duty, dak ats, thieving] use 2 430 roll and every result [from 1 to 30] grants extraXP, although
the higher the rollthe better. Embrace the chaos and have fun!
‘The remaining actvities use a d12 roll and also add a random element. They tend to introduce much less
chaos however
{A character may engage in as many as [3] different downtime activities in the span of a month, each one
using up a single week You may gain a bonus to the roll by spending more than the single week engaged
inthe same activity. For example, 2weeks spent carousing and 2 week spent training. The bonus sas
follow:

+ 2Weaks=+2
+ 3Weaks=45CAROUSING-> Spending one’s time [and coin] engaged in gambling, partying, taverns,
companionship and entertainment.
SACRED DUTIES-> Spending one's time engaged in attending religious activites, either as 2
‘worshipper or a servant. Benefits divine spelicasting classes over others.
DARK ARTS-> Spending one's time deving into arcane lore. Benefits arcane spellcasting classes
over others.
THIEVING-> Spending one's time engaged in larceny, pick pocketing and any of several other
nefarious actives for ilkgotten prof
LOW PROFILE-> Spending one's time relaxing and in relative safety. Maybe.
RESEARCH/STUDY-> Spending one's time engaged in absorbing obscure lore, discovering a magic
items abilities, transerbing or researching a spel or scroll.
CRAFTING» Spending one's time engaged in making a mundane item, scral, potion, magic item or
stronghold
RECRUIT/RUMORS-> Spending ane's time engaged in attracting, selecting and hiring followers or
retainers. ARernately it could be time spent sowing rumars good or il, negative or postive.
TRAINING-> Spending one's time engaged in leveling up ortrying to gain a sill pint
