Task 3

The provided diagram divides demonstrates the various steps of a potato chips production
line. There are required almost ten steps in order to be cooked and packaged properly.

Firstly, the potatoes are peeled and washed within cold water. Then, they are sliced and are
accompanied again by cold water in order to mitigate resistance and ameliorate the uniformity
of each cut. A runway/moving ramp/ conveyor belt transfers the sliced potatoes into a
temperature cooker in order to transfuse sophisticated crispiness. The same aim serves the
pre-heating of the slices with hot air and exposure to dry air. After a specific period of time,
chips are transferred by another runway to the last step which is the final packaging, while
they are also been flavored with salt.

In a nutshell, the creation of crispy salted flavored chips requires their shape formation firstly
and their cooking secondly. The most crucial part of the whole process it their pre-heating and
their accurate temperature cooking.
