Semi-final Period
Narrative Report #9

Our class started with the usual opening practice we’ve had since the first day of
classes. Our attendance were also monitored right after that as well as our proper
compliance to our NSTP uniform (which is our PE T-shirt). We did not have much of an
agenda that day except for the fact that Mr. Ibis have to explain the things he wanted us
to take note of for our upcoming community immersion.

The class officers of our class met with the class officers of the other class to
finalize the details of our project. While waiting for them to finish their discussions, Mr.
Ibis gave us samples of the final output done by the previous batch of NSTP trainees
years ago. I personally was able to scan the two outputs and I noticed how creatively
done those are. Necessary documents and photos were also there to support the
documentation process of their community immersion. The class officers took a while to
finish discussing thus Mr. Ibis took the time to explain some reminders to the rest of the
class. He tackled about “Documentation and Presentation” and “Monitoring and
Evaluation”. He also grabbed the chance to explain Atty. Go’s “Streewardship” project.
Partaking to such would require us to submit the necessary requirements in order for us
to be given the mango seeds we will be planting. It is an environmental campaign and I
would personally like to check it out.

Minutes later, the class officers came back. Shane Argallon, the Class President,
explained the finalized plan for our community immersion project. The project will be
implemented for two weeks. The first week will be allotted for the educational aspect of
our project and will be handled by the other class. We will handle the second week which
is more on recreation (but of course with educational elements) and giving of educational
souvenirs. We also discussed regarding the allocation of tasks per small group but it was
still yet to be finalized. A ₱100.00 contribution was also decided in order to cater the need
for acquiring the necessary school requirements we will be giving out as well as the
snacks for the participants. The class ended right after that run through.
