Script:

(Good for 3 people to roleplay)

Scene 1: Juan and Aisha's First Meeting

(Juan is sitting on a bench, reading a book. Aisha walks by and accidentally drops
her book. Juan helps her pick it up.)

Juan: "Hi, I'm Juan. Are you okay?"

Aisha: "Yes, thank you. I'm Aisha."

Juan: "Nice to meet you, Aisha. I haven't seen you around here before."

Aisha: "I just moved here with my family. We're Muslim."

Juan: "Oh, I'm Catholic. That's cool, though. I don't see why religion should
keep us apart."

Aisha: "I wish my father felt the same way."

Scene 2: Aisha's Father Finds Out

(Aisha's father bursts into her room and sees her talking to Juan on the phone.)

Aisha's Father: "What is this, Aisha? Who are you talking to?"

Aisha: "It's Juan. We're just friends, Papa

Aisha's Father: "Juan? That Catholic boy? You know how I feel about them.
Give me that phone."

(Aisha's father snatches the phone from her and hangs up.)

Aisha: "Papa, please listen to me-"

Aisha's Father: "No, you listen to me, Aisha. I will not have you associating
with those infidels. You are a Muslim, and you will marry a Muslim man."

Aisha: "But Papa, I love Juan-"

Aisha's Father: "Love? You think love is more important than our family's
honor? You will forget about him, or you will face the consequences."

(Aisha stands up, tears streaming down her face.)

Aisha: "I can't do this anymore, Papa. I can't live a lie. I'm leaving."

(Aisha walks out of the room and out of the house. She runs to the park to see
Juan.)

Aisha: (panting) "Juan, I had to see you. My father found out about us."

Juan: "What happened?"

Aisha: "He said I have to forget about you or face the consequences. I can't
do that, Juan. I love you."

Juan: "I love you too, Aisha. We'll figure something out. We'll be together,
no matter what."

Scene 3: Juan and Aisha Decide to Elope

(Juan and Aisha are sitting in a park, discussing their situation.)

Juan: "I can't stand the thought of living without you, Aisha. I want us to be
together, no matter what."

Aisha: "I feel the same way, Juan. But how? Our families will never accept
us."

Juan: "We can elope. Start a new life together somewhere else."

Aisha: "Do you think that's a good idea?"

Juan: "I know it won't be easy, but I'd rather face the unknown than live
without you."

Scene 4: Juan and Aisha Face Discrimination

(Juan and Aisha are sitting in a restaurant, and the waiter gives them a
disapproving look.)
Juan: "Did you see that, Aisha? He looked at us like we don't belong here."

Aisha: "It's because we're different. They don't understand our love."

Juan: "I don't care what they think. As long as we have each other, that's all
that matters."

Scene 5: Juan, Aisha, and Aisha's Father

(Juan and Aisha are sitting on a bench, holding hands, when Aisha's father
approaches them)

Aisha's Father: "What is this I hear about the two of you? Aisha, how could
you do this to our family? To our traditions?"

Aisha: "Father, please, let us explain. Juan and I love each other, and we
want to be together."

Juan: "Sir, please, hear us out. Aisha and I have been together for a long
time now. We love each other deeply and want to spend our lives together."

Aisha's Father: "This is impossible, Juan. You are not of our faith, and our
families would never accept this."

Juan: "I understand that, sir, but love knows no boundaries. We are willing
to work through any challenges that come our way."

Aisha's Father: "I appreciate your words, Juan, but this is not just about the
two of you. This is about our family's reputation and honour. We cannot let
this happen."

Aisha: "Father, please, we are not trying to dishonour our family. We just
want to be happy."

Aisha's Father: "Happiness is not just about personal desires, Aisha. It is

also about fulfilling our responsibilities and obligations to our family and
community."

Juan: "But sir, what about our happiness? Are we supposed to just ignore
that and live a life of misery?"
Aisha's Father: "I understand your perspective, Juan, but sometimes we
have to make sacrifices for the greater good. I cannot allow my daughter to
bring shame to our family."

Aisha: "Father, please, I love Juan. I cannot imagine living without him."

Aisha's Father: "I understand, Aisha. But sometimes, love is not enough. We
have to do what is right."

Juan: "And what about what's right for us? Don't we deserve to be happy
too?"

Aisha's Father: "I wish I could give you an easy answer, Juan. But life is not
always fair. We have to accept our circumstances and make the best of
them."

Aisha: "But Father, what about our love? Doesn't that matter at all?"

Aisha's Father: "Of course it does, Aisha. But sometimes, love is not enough
to overcome our differences and challenges."

Juan: "I refuse to believe that, sir. Love can conquer all, if we just give it a
chance."

Aisha's Father: "I admire your passion, Juan. But the reality is much more
complicated than that. I cannot allow you to be with my daughter."

Aisha: "Father, please, I beg you, don't do this. I love Juan. I want to be with
him."

Aisha's Father: "I'm sorry, Aisha. But my decision is final. You must end
things with Juan."

(Aisha's father walks away, leaving Juan and Aisha alone.)

Juan: "I'm so sorry, Aisha. I never wanted to cause you this much pain."

Aisha: "It's not your fault, Juan. We just live in a world that doesn't accept
our love."

Juan: "I can't imagine my life without you, Aisha."

Aisha: "Me neither, Juan. But we have to accept the reality of our situation.
Maybe someday, things will be different."

Juan: "I'll never stop loving you, Aisha. No matter what."

(Aisha looks into Juan's eyes, tears streaming down her face)

Aisha: "I'll never stop loving you either, Juan. But we have to be strong. We
have to accept the situation and move on."

Juan: "I know, Aisha. But it's hard to let go of something so precious."

Aisha: "I understand, Juan. But we have to try. For our families, for
ourselves."

Juan: "I just wish there was some way we could be together, Aisha. Some
way we could make this work."

Aisha: "I know, Juan. But sometimes, things just don't work out the way we
want them to."

Juan: "I'll never forget you, Aisha. You'll always hold a special place in my
heart."

Aisha: "And you'll always hold a special place in mine, Juan."

(Juan and Aisha hold each other, tears flowing down their faces, as the scene
fades to black)
