YOU GET MORE OF WHAT YOU HAVE

Matthew 25:29

Introduction

“For whoever has will be given more and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even
what they have will be taken from them.”

In Geometry, the one line between two points is called the first dimension. The plane is called the
second dimension. The cube is the third dimension. And anything that is not visible to our natural eye
or not limited to space and time is called fourth dimension. It’s like the spiritual world. Your thought,
motives and your spirit is the fourth dimension. We know it’s real but we can’t see it with our own
eyes. You can’t recognize it with the five senses. That’s what fourth dimension is. Fourth dimension
gives: FAITH, MIRACLES and COOPERATION WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Principle of Faith
“He took the one talent and gave it to the one who have more talent. And He said to him who has
more, more will be given and he will have abundance. To him who doesn’t have here inside, what he
has there on the outside will be taken away. The big idea of this message is:
1. The state of your mind is more important than the condition of your life.
2. The state of your mind is more important than the condition of your body.
3. The state of your mind, your inner world, is more important than the digits of your bank account or
the denomination in your wallet; and more important than the family where you come from.

Our inner world is like a magnet. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING INSIDE YOU ATTRACT NOTHING.
IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING INSIDE, AN ATTITUDE OF FAITH OR POSITIVE OUTLOOK IN
THE MIDDLE OF NEGATIVE SITUATIONS, THEN MORE WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AND
YOU WILL HAVE AN ABUNDANCE.

The secret is not to change the circumstances. THE SECRET IS TO CONNECT WITH GOD’S
WORD AND GOD’S SPIRIT TO CHANGE THE ATTITUDE AND ATMOSPHERE OF OUR
INNER WORLD, IN OUR MIND. The Bible says that our life is transformed by the renewing of our
mind.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. “ (Romans 12:2)
It means that our life is a result of the state of our mind. OUR MIND THEN SHOULD NOT BE IN
THE LEVEL OF OUR CIRCUMSTANCES. OUR MIND SHOULD BE IN THE LEVEL OF THE
PROMISES OF GOD.

HOW TO GET MORE OF WHAT YOU HAVE?

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you
may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. “ (Romans 12:2)

The Bible says that our life is changed when our mind is changed. It doesn’t say that our mind is
changed when our life is changed. The mind gets changed through the Holy Spirit and the Holy
Scriptures. For many of us, what have been changing our minds are our circumstances when it should
be our minds that change the circumstances. Our minds are supposed to be under the influence of a
greater reality called the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures. What you have in the mind begins to
attract more of it then you get abundance. And when you don’t have it in the mind, the Bible says
that even what you have in there will be taken away.

1. DON’T LET THE THIRD DIMENSION TRAMPLE THE FOURTH DIMENSION.

Our minds should not reflect our life. Our minds should be servant to the Holy Spirit, not a servant to
our reality. We are not to be like the seeds which fell along the pathway or sidewalks and were
trampled by people and beast. Our minds should be disciple of the Holy Spirit not sidewalk of our
past, not sidewalk of our feelings and/or circumstances. WE ARE NOT TO SURRENDER TO OUR
SURROUNDINGS.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

IT’S THE MIND PROBLEM THAT SHOULD BE RENEWED. We are given authority to trample
the third dimension and declare: “I’m gonna change you because I am connected to the Holy Spirit.”
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his
own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” (John 16:13)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all
things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26)

SUBMIT TO THE GREATER REALITY WHICH IS THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WORD OF
GOD.

2. MOVE FROM POINT OF DEFEAT TO POSITION OF VICTORY.

“So in my fear, I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what belongs to you.”
(Matthew 25:25)

He had a point of defeat – FEAR. Unlike him, we need to move to a position of victory.
Two builders – one built his house on a rock and the other built his house on the sand. We have
to be stable. So, our faith must be on the rock.

It’s not the aspiration that moves God, it’s the revelation. We should not pray out of desperation,
we should pray out of revelation. We should not fast out of need, we should fast out of a vision, a
dream and a faith that we have a future with God.

Declare: “In my mind, God is my shepherd. He is my El Shaddai. In my mind, I am healed in

Christ. In my body I may be still sick. I’m still going to the doctor, but that’s my body. MY
MIND IS LINKED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

So get your feet out of the sand and stamp it on the rock.

Our focus should not be to feel better but to THINK BETTER because we are walking by faith,
not by sight. Feeling is a luxury but feeling is not where my faith is resting on. If we rest on our
feelings, it will not last. WE NEED TO REST ON THE PROMISES OF GOD, THAT HE WILL
DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO.

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall
accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

“God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change his mind. Has he
ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers
23:19)

3. FILL YOUR MIND WITH RIGHT INFORMATION.

“Finally, the servant who had received one talent came and said, ‘Master, I knew that you are a hard
man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.” (Matthew
25:24)

Notice that the servant was blaming and made decisions out of fear instead of faith.

Remember, we do not see things the way they are, we see things the way WE ARE. The lonely
person will always think everyone does not like him every place he goes.

So it is important that we fill our mind with right information because information becomes
revelation, and revelation becomes manifestation. It will bring changes in our lives.
THE PROBLEM IS THE MINDSET. But the mindset is formed by the overflow of what the mind is
filled with. So what do we do? We must understand that we can’t change our mindset. We can only
change what we feed our mind. Job said, “I know that my Redeemer lives.” Paul said, “I know whom
I believed.” Paul was in chain, beaten, shipwrecked, and drowned but he said “I know He holds
everything in His hand and He says He will bring me up in the last day.”

Whatever you feed in your mind will soon become your stronghold. Remember, information
becomes revelation and revelation becomes manifestation. Watch what you feed in your mind. Be
protective of what goes into your mind and purpose to feed your mind with information that you
want to be in the future as a reality of your life. Don’t be an emotional wrecked or an emotional
drama with the only thing you need is just to feel good. The Bible does not say man shall live by the
amount of music you listen to but on the amount of the Word of God you feed yourself with. FEED
YOURSELF WITH THE INFORMATION FROM THE WORD OF GOD. You can’t control how
you feel but you can control what you feed yourself with.

FAITH IS NOT HOW WE FEEL AT TIMES, FAITH IS HOW WE THINK AND HOW WE
THINK IS AFFECTED BY THE INFORMATION WE FEED OUR MIND.

4. ALIGHT (light up) YOUR CONFESSION.

Make sure your confession helps you to be where you’re planning to go instead of being
contradictory.
The prodigal son was in the midst of the pig pen and then he said to himself, “I will go to my father’s
house, I will say this and this.” But he was still sitting in the pig pen; he was still sitting on his mess.
Yet his mouth is paving a way for his feet. Remember this: YOUR CONFESSION WILL CREATE
A PATH FOR YOUR FEET. When you confession your situation, “Oh I’m poor, my finances is
never enough, I need to have an extra work,” you are releasing a path for more poverty. Your
finances are right here but remember where they are going. Your confession will pave the path for
them.

Guess what happened to the prodigal son. His feet went into the very place where just a minute ago
his mouth spoke. And, he didn’t even finish his repentance when the father already blessed him with
more. YOU WILL ALWAYS GET MORE OF WHAT YOU CONFESS.

Confession will pave the way for your feet to walk. But you may say, “Well you know my reality.”
Yes, but your mind is not a slave to your reality. Your mind is a disciple of the Holy Spirit. “But
what if I don’t believe it?” You will because your feet will catch up to your mouth and it will keep on
walking around.

Say “I am blessed” not “I am weak.” Say “I am strong.” SAY WHAT YOU WANT AND NOT
WHAT YOU FEEL. Otherwise you’ll put a lock in your circumstances and you can pray till you lose
your pulse but nothing’s going to shift. YOU WILL ALWAYS GET MORE AND HAVE
ABUNDANCE IF YOU ARE POSITIVE IN YOUR CONFESSION. Speaking negatively will cause
what you have to be taken away from you.

You may say “My circumstances are tough.” Then be tougher. “This sickness is stubborn.” Well tell
your sickness, “You stubborn, I am stubborn too.” Remember: TOUGH TIMES DON’T LAST,
TOUGH PEOPLE DO. BE TOUGH. We are not trying to teach people to ignore the presence of the
problem. It is rejecting its rule over your life. You can be sick in the body but not in the mind, poor in
here but not in the mind. We are not rejecting its presence.

Faith is not saying it doesn’t exist. FAITH IS SAYING IT EXISTS BUT IT’S NOT GOING TO
RULE ME BECAUSE I AM RULED BY MY LORD. My lord is not tumor, my LORD is
YAHWEH. My lord is not bankruptcy, my LORD’s name is JESUS. My lord’s name is not
loneliness, my LORD’s name is YAHWEH, the LORD is one.

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I
spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak. (2 Corinthians 4:13)
