Arnis, the Filipino martial art, came dangerously close to following in their footsteps. Arnis
was formerly a popular martial technique among pre-Spanish locals and the illustrates of the
Spanish era, but it all but vanished in the cities, with the provinces preserving it. Arnis
terminologies have 8 techniques that we can apply. This are Abanico Corto and Abanico largo,
Solo baston , Anyo or form ,Banda Y Banda , Espada Y Daga , Rompida, Up and down lastly is
the sinawali. Arnis is generally done using a stick. Rattan or yantok are the most common
materials used, however other materials can also be used. Bahi and other hardwoods can also be
used kamagong. The diameter is 1 inch. Also while playing in arnis we must wear uniform white
T-shirts and red pants. The equipment in playing arnis is the Padded sticks is the ideal weapon
for the duelo. The sticks include a robust internal assembly that can withstand several heavy
knocks, foam cushioning to prevent deformation from grasping, and a high-grade vinyl cover for
a pleasant and easy grip. As part of the discipline that comes with teaching, instructors should
consistently advocate these rules as far as a martial art is concerned. It is just as crucial to
practice martial arts in a responsible manner as it is to achieve physical fitness perfection.
Correct etiquette is to project a favorable picture of oneself, his training facility, and martial arts
in general. It all comes down to practicing with the appropriate motivation and cultivating
positive relationships. Most clubs have their own set of rules and guidelines that students must
follow..
