Key terms:
Investment (I) - expenditure by firms on capital equipment and is an injection into the
economy.
Net exports (X-M) - the value of exports (ie export revenues) - value of import (ie
import expenditures).
Aggregate supply - also known as total output, is the total supply of goods and services
produced within an economy at a given time and at an overall price level.
Price level / average price level - the average of current prices across the entire
spectrum of goods and services produced in the economy.
