FINAL PAPER

One’s future is not something that

we are uncertain about and something we
cannot predict. Every time and everyday of
our lives, we dream about our own future
and everything we want to achieve.
Dreaming about it will only give us the
courage and the desire to try no matter
what the cost or no matter how hard it is.
We would always ask questions about it,
sometimes be discouraged and times that
we almost gave up on our “desired” future.
Each of us must dream big and start small.

Years from now, I see myself as a successful engineer that is carrying his duty as
a member of the society and as the firstborn of my family. I think that by the time that I
became successful, I will still be living in the Philippines since it is my home. The other
reason that I would be staying in the Philippines is that I want to take care of my family
and to support them. I see myself in the future that I would be working in the JGC
Philippines Inc. since it is one of my goals and dreams. I have checked the background
of the company itself and I feel like I want to work in that kind of set-up. At that same time,
I reckon that I would have a salary of about ₱300,000 per year. I can see that I have that
kind of salary because I know myself that I am an industrious and a hard-working person.

I believe that after I became successful, I would have my own family. I know that I
have a lot of love to give so I would have at least three children by then. My family is the
main source of my courage, it would be a good reason for me to work harder day by day.
Knowing that my salary would be ₱300,000, I would be prioritizing a comfortable house
for me and my family to call home. I would renovate it to no end until it fits to my family’s
liking. If I still have more money than I planned to, I would by another house for my father
and mother because I want them to experience the life I have experienced. I would say
that I have 3 cars by then, one for me, one for my wife and one for my father since he
loves cars and that my father and mother would never have to worry about commuting
anymore. Although I am already working, I would still be aiming for master’s degree at
the time. My sole reason for that would be because I want to attain the benefits that comes
with it. I would develop specialists’ knowledge; I would become wiser and smarter in my
field and so on. My parents always told me to go straight for master’s degree since it is
an achievement I will carry for the rest of my life.
