Assembly Procedure
Please follow the information provided in this section to perform the complete
assembly procedure of the notebook. Be sure to use proper tools described before.

A
fter you have completed the previous chapter of complete disassembly, please follow this
chapter to assemble the notebook back together. This chapter describes the procedures of the
complete notebook assembly. In addition, in between procedures, the detailed assembly
procedure of individual modules will be provided for your service needs.

The assembly procedure consists of the following steps:

• Bottom Case Module

• Motherboard Module
• Top Case Module
• LCD Module
• Keyboard Module
• Optical Drive
• HDD Module
• Memory Module
• WLAN Module
• CPU Module
• Battery Module

B O T T O M C A S E Bottom Case Module

M O D U L E The illustrations below show how to assemble and install the Bottom Case module of the
notebook.

1. secure 4 screws to fix it here.

2. Install the CMOS fly cable on bottom case and secure 1 （M2*4L）screw.

3. Connect the bluetooth cable with bluetooth module and install it on bottom case

M O T H E R B O A R D Motherboard Module
M O D U L E The illustrations below show how to assemble and install the Motherboard module of the
notebook.

1. Insert the roboson minicard into its slot at 45°angles and press it down softly，and then
secure 2 (M2*3L) screws

2. Insert the TV tuner module into its slot at 45°angles and press it down softly，and then
secure 2 (M2*3L) screws and connect 1 antenna cable.

3. Install modem module on motherboard and secure 2 (M2*3L)screws, and then fix 1
pieces of tapes here, connect the modem cable with motherboard.

4. Install the bracket on motherboard and secure 2 (M2*3L)screws.

5. Install the motherboard on bottom case and secure 1(M2*6L)screw.

6. Connect the Bluetooth cable, CMOS fly cable and speaker cable with motherboard
and then fix 4 pieces of tapes here.

T O P C A S E Top case Module

M O D U L E The illustrations below show how to assemble and install the top case module of the
notebook.
1.Install touchpad board and bracket on top case by sequence.

2. Secure 4(M2*4L) screws and connect the touchpad FPC with touchpad board.

3. Install top case on bottom case.

4.Secure 26 screws on bottom case and 4 screws on top case.

13. Connect the touchpad FPC with motherboard.

LCD module
L C D M O D U L E
The illustrations below show how to assemble and install the LCD module of the notebook.

1. Install the WLAN antenna board on LCD back cover and arrange the antenna, then fix 2
pieces of tapes here.

2. Connect the camera cable with camera module and then install it on LCD back cover.

3. Arrange the microphone module on LCD back cover and pull it into LCD back cover with
tweezers, then fix 8 pieces of tapes here.

4. Install the bracket on LCD back cover.

5. Install LCD cable and fix 2 pieces of tapes here.

6. Install LCD bracket and secure 8 (M2*3L)screws here.

7. Arrange LCD panel on LCD back cover and install the bracket.

8. Secure 6(M2.5*6L) + 2 screws and fix 2 pieces of tapes here.

9. Connect inverter cable with inverter board and secure 2 (M2*3L)screws here.

10. Connect LCD cable with inverter board.

11. Install the front bezel and press the edges softly to make it close.

12. Secure 8 screws and 8 rubber pads on LCD module.

13. Arrange WLAN antenna into bottom case and install LCD module on top case and.

14. Connect the coaxial cable and inverter cable with motherboard.

15. Secure 5 screws and install 2 hinge covers.

Keyboard Module
The illustrations below show how to install the keyboard module of the notebook.

1. Connect keyboard FPC with motherboard using tweezers and turn it onto top case.

2. Lock 4 keyboard latches.

O P T I C A L D R I V E Optical Drive Module

M O D U L E The illustrations below show how to assemble and install the optical drive Module of the

1. Insert the optical drive module to its compartment and secure 1 (M2*6L) screw and the
rubber.

A S S E M B L Y The illustrations below show how to assemble and install HDD Module of the notebook.

1. Lay the HDD module into its slot, and push it until it’s installed properly.

2. Install HDD door and secure 2 (M2*6L)screws.

Insert memory module at 45°angles and press down until it clicks into the latches.

The illustrations below show how to assemble and install WLAN module of the notebook

Insert the WLAN module into its slot at 45°angles and press it down softly，and then secure
2 (M2*3L) screws and connect 3 antenna cables(black cable should be connected on main),
and paste 1 piece of tape here.

C P U I N S T A L L CPU Module
The illustration below shows how to install CPU and the heat sink of the notebook.

1. Use the CPU vacuum to “suck up” the CPU then Install the CPU and turn the
non-removable screw here 180 degrees clockwise to lock the CPU.

2. Install the CPU heat sink module gently and secure 3 (M2*4L) screws upon the CPU
module.
Note: If thermal module has no thermal pad on it, please plus a thermal pad on the
CPU die before assembling.

3. Install CPU fan and secure 3 (M2*6L) screws, and then connect fan cable.

B A T T E R Y Battery Module
M O D U L E
The illustrations below show how to install battery module of the notebook.

Slide on the battery module into its compartment and then lock the latch to fix it.
