III. Problem Presented

The client dropped out of the program under educational monitoring. The child
belongs to the list of not attending school children in education, due to his preference
for employment over the school.

IV. Assessment
Adrian Faith is among those youth today who prioritize seeking a job first over
prioritizing school. The client’s parents are a plain farmer, a laborer, and a
housekeeper. Due to this reason, the client decided to seek a job and not proceed to
college. According to the client’s mother, they want Adrian to proceed to college
amidst unstable finances. He asked him to get all his school records and be ready for

the incoming school enrollment. But they are all in a moment of shock because her
son did not go home and all of a sudden, the client decided to be a security guard at
his former school. As of now, the client is working as a security guard at Begong
National High School and earns 4500 monthly as a non-skilled and irregular
security guard.
According to the client’s mother, she can’t do anything about their son’s decision.
As a mother, her only task is to support the wants of her son but on the other side,
she felt guilty because she wants her son to proceed to college badly.
As per the assessment, the client likes and enjoys where he is today and he already
lost his interest in school, because he thinks in school, money is invisible and hard
to find.
