for exemplary performance, efficiency and devotion to duty as members of 355th

Aviation Engineer Wing who rendered exceptional assistance in fulfilling the mandate of
the Northern Luzon Command in ensuring a peaceful, orderly, honest, fair and credible
2019 National and Local Elections in its Area of Responsibility. During the election
period from 13 January to 12 June 2019, subject personnel provided manpower
requirements, logistics support and engineering assistance during the conduct of pro-
active measures which mitigated the impact of security threats that could have
hampered the conduct of the elections. Among the assistance provided by the Wing
were the provision of manpower in the manning of checkpoints, land transportation,
public information support and the smooth processing of logistics and financial
resources to deployed and designated personnel which paved the way for their
excellent performance of pre-election, election and post-election duties.
Notwithstanding the complexity of their respective tasks, subject personnel were able to
exercise their individual right to participate in public governance by casting their votes
during both the absentee voting held at 355th AEW and voting in their respective
municipalities and cities. The collaborative efforts of subject personnel resulted to the
successful conduct of the 2019 National and Local Elections with no Human Rights
violations reported and no failure of election announced in the NOLCOM AOR. Such

feat highlighted the enthusiasm and sincere stance of 355 th AEW personnel in
protecting the integrity and sovereignty of the state and its people. By these
achievements, subject personnel immensely contributed to the accomplishment of the
defense and national security objectives of the AFP, thereby earning distinct credit and
honor not only for themselves and the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing but also for the
Philippine Air Force and the Armed Forces of the Philippines as well.
