Research Title : Negative Anxiety Disorder (Causes) / 10

Thesis Statement: Negative anxiety disorder is caused by unrealistic work expectations,


gender discrimination, lack of proper communication, poor time management.

1) Topic Sentence:

The first cause of negative anxiety disorder among employees is unrealistic work
expectations in the workplace.

2) Connecting Explanation (for Topic Sentence---Main Point):

The employees usually occur in unrealistic work expectation due to directives


instructions from leader that give excessive work demands. This is because the leader often
intructs employees to complete tasks as a team works in order to achieve experience targets.

In the article “Undue Stress on Workers can Decrease Productivity” written by Marisa
Sanfilippo, the writer mentions that unfavourable organisational cultural lead to unrealistic
expectations at work.

On other hand, this includes their teamwork playing an important role in shaping
organizational culture and creating a sense of commitment in the workplace. Here, it is
means that the leader in the organization should inspire the employees in a certain tasks. So
that, they do not feel burdened in handling their work that needs to be achieved in a certain
time. If leader can manage employees well, they can produce organizational values such as
equality, loyalty, integrity, respect, innovation, teamwork, efficiency and others.

According to Muhammad Mohsin et al, (2022) in negative anxiety disorder is caused


employees job anxiety considerably mediates the association between workplace ostracism,
workplace incivility, and employees knowledges concealing behaviour.

This can be seen in jobs need to have an attitude of share their knowledge with each
other in teamwork. It is because that organization must understand the motivations behind
employees behaviour in the workplace. Additionally, positive workplace relationships are
important for employees to interact socially. Unrealistic work expectations is caused
workplace incivility such as the isolation of the workplace also which brings with it physically
and mentally, stressful behaviour, less productive behaviour.

7) Concluding Sentences:

Consequently, it is important for leader in the organization of employees behaviour to


prevent negative causes from happening in the workplace. If the leader does not manage the
organization well employees can feel anxiety and burdened in handling job in the workplace.
