Abstract :-
In this study One hundred urine samples obtained
from patients suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI) ,
whom admitted to AL sadr generl Hospital for the period of
1/2 – 1/4/2009 ,in Emarha city.
All urine samples were cultured on MacConkey agar and
Blood Agar base , then Macroscopic , Miacroscopic
appearance and Biochemical tests were done to diagnose the
purity isolates of p .aeruginosa , which found with( 33%)
while there were (28)isolates obtained.
Results of susceptibility to c to antibiotics
Amoxycillin , Gentamycin , Cefotaxaime , Carbenicillin ,
Aztreonam , Ciprofloxacin , Piperacillin , Cefazolin.
Norfloxacin , Amikacin ) showed that this bacteria had
resistant mode ranged between 6% to 100% , while it was
also having wide range of sensitivity ranged between 0% to
94% for Antibiotics which listed .
The study should be recommending to use antibiotic
combination to reduce antibiotic resistance of bacteria and
to treat patients with UTI
