6. CONCLUSIONS FROM THE ANALYSIS OF THE CONFORMITY OF THE ASSUMED LEARNING OUTCOMES
WITH THE DEMANDS OF THE LABOUR MARKET AND CONCLUSIONS FROM THE ANALYSIS OF THE
RESULTS OF MONITORING PROFESSIONAL CAREERS OF GRADUATES:
ANALYSIS OF THE CONFORMITY OF THE ASSUMED LEARNING OUTCOMES WITH THE DEMANDS OF THE
LABOUR MARKET:
On the basis of the Report - analysis of qualifications and key competencies for increasing the chances of
graduates on the labour market, Agrotec, Warsaw 2014, which was developed as the final result of the study
commissioned by the National Centre for Research and Development – defined a list of competencies and
qualifications as well as learning outcomes indispensable on the labour market that are demanded for the economy
and social services. The fields of study offering the greatest employment opportunities have also been defined.
According to the conclusions of the Report, final employment decisions are made based on soft skills, analytical
skills, critical thinking, ingenuity, ability to work in a team, independence, resistance to stress, flexibility. Equally
important are professional competencies and practical knowledge combined with foreign language skills. The list of
fields of study that may have a high employment potential in the next 7 years includes, among others, centres of
large cities, where increased demand is expected for business services, including financial services, as well as the
area of R&D and advanced technologies.
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy also presents the latest statistical information on deficit, balanced
and surplus professions. The latest study published for the second half of 2016 lists 6 groups of deficit professions
in the field of finance and economic sciences.
The name of the elementary group of scarce professions in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship:
− Job and employment agents
− Financial and investment advisors
− Financial managers
− Managers in financial and insurance institutions
− Dealers and brokers of financial assets
− Real estate agents and administrators

4
Appendix No. 7 to Resolution No. 2/10.08/2022 of the Senate of Vistula University of 10.08.2022
The number of unemployed in the Mazowieckie voivodeship is very high among young people aged 25-34, and
the share of employment of people with higher education is also high. This proves the high competition on the
labour market among young people and, therefore, the need to acquire a sufficiently high education with
knowledge of foreign languages. Labour market research and research conducted using the surveys listed
below:
− Research on the expected quality of education of candidates for studies and first-year
students,
− Study of the quality of education in the Vistula Group of Universities by the graduate - spring
2017,
− Study "Economic fates of graduates",
− Study of learning outcomes according to Opinions of academic teachers,
− Evaluation of study programs by external stakeholders,
and, above all, the preferences of students in terms of learning outcomes allow drawing appropriate conclusions
regarding changes in the current learning outcomes and their appropriate redefinition taking into account the
PQF.
The result of the conducted research was to define the graduate profile within a given field of study and the key
learning outcomes in this field of study. These competencies formed the basis for the formulated learning
outcomes in the area of skills and social competencies used in business practice in the professions of
accountants, business advisors, tax advisors, financial analysts, banking and insurance analysts.
Based on the above-mentioned research, we assess that the education program and learning outcomes
proposed in the finance and accounting study program at Vistula University respond to the challenges and
demands of the labour market. This study program has practice-oriented, general-academic profile, which
includes many speciality business subjects related to business practice in consultation with practitioners-
financiers. In addition, the Study Program is focused on educating highly qualified staff, capable of obtaining
professional Polish and international certificates. The new learning outcomes are in line with the PQF.
