 SAMPLING SYSTEM
The SAMPLING SYSTEMs have been installed in power plants to take samples
and analysis of process variables from feed water and steam.

SAMPLING SYSTEM is also called STEAM AND WATER ANALYSIS(SWAS).

The purpose of SAMLNG SYSTEM is to allow efficient operation, monitoring,

control of sampling, analyzing and chemical feed to facilitate optimum
chemistry control.

For prevention of corrosion and scaling at process pipes, turbines and other
equipment SAMPLING SYSTEM measures and monitors process variables
such as pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Sodium, Silica in feed water and
steam condensate at the power plants.
