    SPEECH OUTLINE

    1. Opening: Pembuka pidato

    2. Premise: Dasar pemikiran/ alasan kenapa kita berpidato

    3. Body

    a. Uraian body (isi 1)

    b. Uraian Body (isi 2)

    c. Uraian Body (isi 3), etc

    4. Call for Action; what do you want the audience to do (action); kita
    maunya penonton itu ngapain, apakah menandatangani sebuah
    formulir, bergabung dengan acara yang kita punya, dll.

    5. Closing/ Penutup; this is should be tie back to the opening.


    Maksudnya adalah bahwa penutup dalam pidato kita, mesti
    berkaitan dengan opening kita sebelumnya

    Kinds of Speech

    1. Speech to inform
    2. Speech to persuade
    3. Speech to entertain
    4. Speech for special occasion (Married party, condolences, engagement,
    etc.)

    Example of Speech Outline/ draft

    Profession: PROFESSIONAL CHEF

    OPENING : We open our speech, we can use greeting, opening statement, etc

    Body: a famous chef is telling audiences how to make OREK TEMPE

    Breakdown/ Uraian:

    1. He will explain why he really wants to make Orek Tempe (the story/ background)

    2. Ingredients for making the Orek Tempe

    3. Why people should try or make the Orek Tempe like what he makes.

    Call for Action: He want the audience try to make Orek Tempe like what He makes and buy it his
    Restaurant

    CLOSING: By giving conclusion and end the meeting
