PERFORMANCE TASK

IN SCIENCE

Base on what I have watched, it is about illegal mining

in Zamboanga del Sur. The video shows how polluted the environment
is, and it also shows how they do it by using cyanide, mercury, and nitric
acid. The illegal miners are not only damaging the environment but also
risking their own health. The government should take action to stop this
illegal activity and provide alternative livelihoods for the affected
communities.

Furthermore, the illegal mining activities are also affecting the local
economy and causing social conflicts. Therefore, it is important for the
government to address this issue comprehensively and involve all
stakeholders in finding a sustainable solution. The government should
also enforce strict laws and regulations to prevent further illegal mining
activities and provide alternative livelihood options for the affected
communities. Additionally, education and awareness campaigns should
be conducted to inform people about the negative impacts of illegal
mining on the environment and society.

The effect of this activity on our biodiversity is huge. Our resources

would be gone slowly by slowly or faster by faster. Biodiversity would be
affected; the depletion of resources and loss of biodiversity would have
severe consequences for the planet, including climate change, habitat
destruction, and the extinction of species. It is crucial that we take action
to preserve our natural resources and protect the diversity of life on Earth.
