The Miracle Mindset

Did you know that miracles should be a normal part of the believer’s life? They are not
whims of God or divine “accidents.” Once we understand how miracles happen, we can
move into a greater dimension of abundant life for ourselves and for others.

Therefore, He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He
do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (Gal. 3:5)

In this brief verse the key to miracles is revealed. God works miracles in our midst
according to our “hearing of faith.” In other words, the only requirement for miracles is
that we hear God in faith. That seems easy enough. We were created to hear God.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27)

Man was created with “supernatural” ability. It was the ability to think God’s thoughts,
speak God’s words and do God’s works. It was dominion over God’s creation. It all
was to flow from hearing Him while in fellowship with Him. What we today call
supernatural was actually meant to be natural (normal).

Sin in humanity changed all of that. But Jesus came to restore man to his intended
purpose. Walking in the supernatural should be “natural” for believers – the normal
Christian life. We should be hearing God and acting accordingly.

Miracles are simply God’s love touching man’s need. They can be obvious and
spectacular, or they can be quiet and unseen by others. The supernatural is not always
spectacular. But when we hear God, declare His Word and act on what He shows us,
miracles will follow.

You must believe that miracles are for you. Don’t believe that miracles are only for the
gifted few. You can begin to have a miracle mindset today. Spend time with Him giving
thanks for everything you have. Envision the challenges in your life and see them
resolved, restored and healed. Begin to speak words of life and blessing over your life,
your family, your job and your future. Start where you have to start but begin to
consider your life a miracle life.

Expect the unexpected. Expect to be blessed. Expect to be healed. Expect favor.

Expect relationships to be restored. God is speaking these things every minute of every
day. You simply must choose to hear Him.
