 Final Assignment Topic
Some of you are already teaching in a secondary school context or a language center, while others may not yet
be teaching. In either case, it is important for you to have a clear idea of your teaching context when you do
activities for this course, as well as when you are performing as a teacher. When we create teaching materials
and lesson plans, we should always be guided by an understanding of the teaching context that they are meant
for, including a consideration of students’ needs and interests.

Thus, I encourage you to share and reflect on your teaching context by addressing the following
questions:

1.Where do you teach (type of school)?

2.How many students are there per class?
3.Who are those students? What are their ages and English levels? Do they have opportunities to practice
English outside of the classroom?
4.Based on the modules of this course, what are the favorite modules that support your teaching?
Explain.
5.Based on the modules of the course, what do you think is the biggest challenge that you face while
teaching English, and how do you overcome it?
Please respond in about 1000 words. The suggested due date for your final assignment is JUNE 25th.
