EL TITANIC

The Titanic was built between 1909 and 1912. Its maiden voyage was on April
10, 1912, it set sail from England and its destination was New York.
The ship's captain, was Edward Smith, an experienced sailor from the White
Star company, directed it.
The crossing went smoothly until April 14, when the collision with the iceberg
occurred.
The captain ordered a course change to avoid areas where he already knew
icebergs were drifting. At ten o'clock at night the captain retired to his cabin
and the ship was left under the command of the first officer, William
Murdoch, who ordered to reinforce the surveillance and close all the
openings of the forecastle, so that the reflection would not hinder the vision
of You watched them that night. However, we all know what happened hours
later and that until now was an unanswered mystery.
That mystery was solved in the investigation carried out in a documentary on
the History channel. What finally happened is that the steel of the ship's hull
was thin and brittle, which caused it to break when it hit the iceberg,
unleashing the tragedy.
