What does the ‘Halloween’ means?

 The word Halloween comes from all Hallows’ Eve and means hallowed
evening.
What is the history of Halloween Day

 The history of Halloween dates back to pagan festival called Samhain.


 When people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
 In the eighth century , Pope Gregory 3 designated November 1 as a time to
honor all saints.
 All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain.
 The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween.

 This years most popular Halloween costumes include Spider-Man, the Stranger
Things’ kids and dinosaurs.
