Characters:
- Sara: A 13-year-old girl
- Emma: Sara's best friend
- Mrs. Johnson: The school counselor
- Lisa: A popular and confident student
- Jack: Sara's older brother
- Classmates: Various students from the 7th grade
[The classroom is buzzing with excitement as students chat and prepare for the school play.]
Sara: (looking at herself in the mirror) I wish I looked different, Emma. Why can't I be as
pretty as Lisa?
Emma: (concerned) Sara, you're beautiful just the way you are! Don't compare yourself to
others.
Mrs. Johnson: (kindly) Come in, Sara. What brings you here today?
Sara: (tearfully) Mrs. Johnson, I feel so insecure about my appearance. I think I'm too fat and
ugly. I don't think I can participate in the school play.
Mrs. Johnson: (compassionate) Sara, it's essential to remember that beauty comes in all
shapes and sizes. You are unique and special just as you are. It's time to challenge these
negative thoughts and embrace your own beauty.
[Sara reluctantly attends the rehearsal for the school play. Lisa struts across the stage with
confidence.]
Sara: (whispering to Emma) Look at Lisa. She's so confident and perfect. I could never be
like her.
Emma: (firmly) Sara, Lisa might appear confident, but deep down, everyone has their
insecurities. Don't let comparisons hold you back from shining.
Jack: (supportive) Sara, beauty isn't just about what's on the outside. It's about being kind,
compassionate, and confident in yourself. Embrace your uniqueness and let your inner
beauty shine.
Sara: (nervously) I'm still not sure, Emma. What if people judge me?
Emma: (encouragingly) Sara, you've overcome so much. Your journey can inspire others to
love themselves too. Be brave, and remember, you are more than your appearance.
[Sara takes a deep breath, walks onto the stage, and delivers her lines with newfound
confidence.]
Classmate 2: Yeah, you taught us that beauty isn't just about looks.
Lisa: (approaching Sara) I have to admit, Sara, your performance was outstanding. You
showed real strength tonight.
Sara: (smiling) Thank you, Lisa. We're all beautiful in our own way, aren't we?
Curtain falls.
Note: The play "Reflections of Beauty" aims to address the issue of body shaming, promote
