Hello Reid-Saunders,

Good work on your discussion post. You have provided an insightful overview of the

demographic factors that lead to patient safety for a positive outcome. Based on linear

regression, the analysis will allow the identification of the relationship between variables.

However, other factors like communication and leadership can impact patient safety culture.

Although a potential bias may arise, there is a need to determine the organization's culture

and elements that foster objective assessment. Therefore, when one understands these factors,

healthcare organizations find a necessary invention that will lead to quality and improved

patient safety. Consequently, how should doctors and nurses align with these factors? A study

by Rosen et al. (2018) looked at the impact of interdisciplinary teamwork efforts and resulted

in hospitals across the United States. The study involved data analysis in measuring the

degree of collaboration considering the validated scale.

According to the research result, the hospital that laid a higher level of

interdisciplinary collaboration had a lower rate of adverse patient outcomes. Based on the

study, teamwork, communication, and collaboration are essential factors in determining

patient safety culture and minimizing adverse patient outcomes (Rosen et al., 2018).

Therefore, there is a need to align with organization factors and demographic determinants of

patients such that each healthcare fosters improved quality services. Furthermore, when

patients find good results, there is a perception that healthcare professionals enhanced will

influence their states. In line with patients' perspectives, there is more understanding of

factors that leads to patient safety incidents (Noviyanti et al., 2021). It can be depicted as

inadequate staffing, communication breakdown, and less patient involvement in decision-

making. Teamwork thus fosters accurate information that improves patient satisfaction and

trust in the operating health systems.
