refitting of naval vessels. The Paramount range of vessel platforms include light strike craft and rapid intervention vessels,

of naval vessels. Extensive research and development is
used to establish the optimal systems and materials for
each project.
Marine grade aluminium is utilised as a first choice
manufacturing material. At a third of the mass of steel,
aluminium’s weight saving characteristics result in greatly
reduced fuel costs each year. Additionally, aluminium
reduces the logistical burden.
Paramount Naval Systems has invested heavily in
developing lightweight composite ballistically protected
superstructure, for protection against the most common
small arms fire, such as the widely used AK47.
CUSTOMISED
SOLUTIONS
Paramount Naval Systems manufactures various
products ranging in size from 9m to 90m. The majority
of vessels are manufactured using marine grade aluminium,
however, if the application demands it, vessels may
also be manufactured using steel.
The design and build process is always preceded by an
in depth specialised analysis of clients’ requirements, a
collaborative exercise that is used to ascertain the specific
conditions in which the vessel will operate. Delivering
customised solutions that meet exact client needs are
critically important. In each case, a process of formal
review and acceptance by the client at key stages of
the design process is followed.
