SEBI – Introduced 3 Months Timeline for Banking & Economy

Listed Entities to Fill KMPs Vacancies

• Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced a
timeline of 3 months for ‘Listed Entities’ to fill up the vacancies
of their Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs) such as Chief
Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director etc.
to ensure smooth functioning of listed companies.

• भारतीय प्रततभूतत और तितिमय बोर्ड िे सू चीबद्ध कंपतियों के सु चाू कामकाज को

सु तितित करिे के तिए मुख्य कायडकारी अतिकारी, मुख्य तित्तीय अतिकारी, प्रबंि
तिदे शक आतद जैसे प्रमुख प्रबं िकीय कातमडकों की ररक्तियों को भरिे के तिए
'सू चीबद्ध सं स्थाओं' के तिए 3 महीिे की समय-सीमा शु ू की है ।

• An amendment to this effect has been made in the SEBI’s Listing

Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) regulations
based on the consultation paper issued by SEBI in February
2023.

तिक्तटंग दातयत्ों और प्रकटीकरण आिश्यकताओं (एिओर्ीआर) तियमों में इस

Education loans register 17% growth in FY23
• According to RBI data, the outstanding portfolio under education
loans grew 17% at Rs 96,847 crore in the year 2022-23 as against Rs
82,723 crore in the previous year.

designing and constructing 6 new generation diesel-electric general cargo
vessels.
