lives one.
N: Good Morning everyone! Today, we the class of 9B will be presenting an
assembly in front of you about the power of reading.
C: First of all, let's start this day with a few thankful words to our god, the
almighty for giving us a new day filled with peace. So, let's call upon Nandana,
Dhwani and Iffat for the school prayer.
N: A good thought in the morning is so precious and important as it can light
up your whole day with tranquillity and happiness. Let us call upon Leena for
the thought of the day.

C: To stay on track with what is happening recently, let's call Afnan, Gautham,
Vaishnav and Anna to share some news happening around theworld.
N: Reading is good for you because it improves your focus, memory, empathy,
and communication skills.
C: It can reduce stress and improve your mental health. Reading also allows
you to learn new things to help you succeed in your work and relationships.
N: To encourage the people in this school to read books, we have Hrisheka and
Raina giving book recommendations on different genres.
C: Now, we have Arshit coming up on the stage to read a segment from the
book 'A Tale of 2 Cities' by the author, 'Charles Dickens'.
N: Now that is the end of today's assembly. We hope you all enjoyed the
assembly and will try to read books more.
C: Let's end the assembly by inviting our supervisor Mrs Sangeetha Mathur to
address the assembly.
N and C: Thank you and have a wonderful day ahead!
