SUBJECT Increase in Accreditation Fees

IN connection With the inneaee of acneditation fw, we would like to mfort you of the following,
I 1. Accreditation of institutional health care pwviders is a functi~~l of F'hilHealth which
involves, among others, paper works, actual travel, conunittee feliberations and use of
office materials, thus entoiling considerable administrative cor to the Corpomtlon;

2. The current accreditation fees being charged to applicants is no longer sufficient to
cover the overhead expenses;

3. DOF-DBM Joint Circular dated Apri14, 2000 implementing ftO. 197 di..tects aU
departments, bmeaus, commissions, including govermnent-oJned or controlled
cotporations to increase their rates of fees and charges by not less than 20 percent to
I recovet the cost of services they render;

In view of the foregoing, fees for initial and renewal of accreditation shall be increased as follows:

I This increase of fees shall take effect during the accreditation period beginning Year 2001.
