Bhurban is a small town and a hill station in Punjab province, Pakistan. The resort town is named after a
nearby forest. It is located approximately 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Murree city.
Murree was the summer capital of the Punjab Province of British India until 1864. The hill
station is a popular getaway destination for Islamabad's populace. It is located on the southern
slopes of the Western Himalayan foothills as they ascend northeastwards at an average altitude
of 2,291 metres (7,516 ft). It experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The city is
noted for its Tudorbethan and neo-gothic architecture dating from the colonial era.
Neelum Valley is situated at the North & North-East of Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir, running parallel to
Kaghan Valley. The two valleys are only separated by snow-covered peaks, some over 4000m above sea
level. Excellent scenic beauty, panoramic views, towering hills on both sides of the noisy Neelum River,
lush green forests, enchanting streams and attractive surroundings make the valley a dream come true.
