The AP 5100 series of Ericsson Wi-Fi Access Points are cost-effective
ruggedized, outdoor products optimized for carrier-grade Wi-Fi coverage in
the following deployment scenarios:

• Service provider hot zones

• Stadiums and large outdoor venues

• Campus

• Public safety

Wi-Fi Radios
The concurrent dual-radio design of the AP 5100 series supports both 2.4 GHz
and 5 GHz operation simultaneously with 2x2 MIMO and 2 spatial streams per
band. Each stream supports a peak rate of 150 Mbps, thereby providing
300Mbps per radio
Power Supply
All products in the AP 5110 series support standard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)
IEEE 802.3af / at. Ericsson offers optional outdoor PoE power supplies as part of
the Wi-Fi site products catalog.
