BYCICLE'S HYSTORY

VELOCIPEDE
Pedals were added in 1864 in
Pierre Michaux's workshop in
Paris. These bicycles were known 1817
as improved velocipedes, or
popularly called ‘boneshakers’
for their rough ride.
