“Energy Saved, Energy Regenerates”

(Introduction by Azhaan): Greetings to one and all present here in this

auspicious event of R.P.M Sampravah. Today, We the students of Lovely
Public Sr. Sec. School is going to perform a skit on “Energy Saved, Energy
Regenerates”. We will be discussing about an event during the 1980’s
which caused the whole world in a panic and tried to come up with the
solution.
Skit starts:
NASA Scientist 1 ( Sachin ) : Sir ! Come take a look at this.
NASA Scientist 2 ( Jayant ) : What happened ?
NASA Scientist 1 ( Sachin ) : Sir ! There is a hole in our Earth’s ozone layer.
NASA Scientist 2 ( Jayant ) : What !? Are you sure about that.
NASA Scientist 1 ( Sachin ) : Yes sir, I was checking the status of the Earth’s
ozone layer with help of our satellite and it’s covering a whole Antarctic
Continent
( Jayant )
The Scientist 2 was checking what was the main problem, then what he saw
next was really horrifying. The hole that scientist 1 discovered in the ozone
layer was due to the massive amount of usage of a gas called CFC and if this
type of gas is still in use then it will create a threat to the humanity. Later on
a press conference was held in which more than 200 countries came.

Chief Executive of NASA ( Sachin ) : Today’s press conference is kept to

discuss about something which can end humanity. Recently our Scientists
have discovered a hole in the Earth’s ozone layer which is covering a whole
Antarctic Continent.
Journalist ( Vedika ) : So Ma’am what is the cause of this hole !?
Chief Executive of NASA ( Sachin ) : This is due to a gas called CFC,
Chlorofluorocarbon, which is made from carbon, hydrogen, chlorine and
fluorine. If it is kept at a high concentration then it can be really harmful.
Journalist ( Vedika ) : So Ma’am if this gas is so harmful then why is it in use
then why don’t we stop this ?
Chief Executive of NASA ( Sachin ) : That’s is why we have kept this
conference to stop the use of CFC and All the 200 countries are going to sign
an agreement which is preventing them to stop the usage of these gases.

( Vedika )
After signing the agreement the countries agreed to stop the production of
these gases. After some years the ozone layer was fixed and the use of CFC
are no longer in use.

( Sachin )
If we could have stop the use of such energy together so why can’t we
promote the use of energy which can be saved and regenerated easily.

( Everyone )
Let’s keep a promise that - in future we will become a responsible citizen
and protect our earth and promote “Energy Saved, Energy Regenerates”.
