REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE (FORM COR14.3) ISSUED VIA NEW E-SERVICES

PLATFORM

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has received feedback that the
registration certificate or form CoR14.3 as issued on its newest platform, New E-Services, is not
always accepted by banks and other users of CIPC and company information.

Therefore, CIPC has amended the form CoR14.3, with effective date 25 May 2021 on New E-
Services to more closely resemble those that are issued via other platforms e.g. E-Services, Self
Service Terminal, Banks, BizPortal and the CIPC Mobile App.

In this regard it is important to note:-

 The form CoR14.3 issued via New E-Services, is of a better quality than the certificate
issued on other platforms.
 The form CoR14.3 issued via other platforms still contains the previous CIPC Logo stating
“a member of the dti group” while the amended form CoR14.3 via New E-Services has the
current CIPC logo stating “a member of the dtic group”. Due to the migration of CIPC
services relating to companies, close corporations and co-operatives to newer platforms,
CIPC has not updated all output documents to the rebranded and renamed Department of
Trade, Industry and Competition (“DTIC”).
 The form CoR14.3 is issued in colour, but once printed in colour or black and white, there
may be a degradation in the quality in the presented form. For peace of mind, kindly
confirm the validity of any CoR14.3 and latest company information via the CIPC free
Enterprise Search functionality on www.cipc.co.za / Online Transacting / E-services /
Enterprise Search or https://eservices.cipc.co.za/Search.aspx
 All new company registrations via New E-Services from 1 March 2021, will receive the
amended version of the form CoR14.3. If it was not received, kindly download via New E-
Services.
 Examples of the previous form CoR14.3 issued via E-Services platform, the amended form
CoR14.3 issued via New E-Services and current form CoR14.3 issued by other platforms
are attached as Annexure A to this notice.

It is requested that both versions of the form CoR14.3 be accepted, after confirming the validity
of the company registration and its information via the CIPC Enterprise Search functionality.
