Systec store Approved Weight with Alibi memory

In this document we’ll use a Systec IT3 indicator, but it is also possible with other types, eg. IT1, IT6000E, etc.

The IT1/3 needs an additional module (alibi memory) for storage => ASM

Interface can be Serial or Ethernet

When ethernetis used, the indicator will need a fixed IP-adres and communicates via port 1234 by default, this can
be changed.

To perform a certified stable weighing the <RN> command needs to be send tot he <IP-adres>:1234

When the weight is STABLE, you’ll get a string like this:

<000005.06.1813:12 21 20000 0 20000kg 1 27387>

In your software you’ll have to store this info as it is stored in de ITx: date, time, weight, Ident No.

Negative weights cannot be executed!

18.2 Weight Storage (Manual IT3)

Note: The use of the long-term weight storage (data archive) requires the installation of an ASM module.
The W&M approved long-term weight storage has a capacity of approx. 1,000,000 records. A record is stored for every
completed weighing cycle. The sequence of a weighing transaction is: operating / data entry, entry in data archive,
printing and data transmission.
In the archive each record is stored with date, ident No. and gross and net weight. The Id No. is reset to 0001 with every
change of the date. To allow for a later verification of the weighing data, date and identification No. of the weighing have to
appear on the printout or must be stored together with the weight on the host computer.
The data archive can be used as an alternative to a log printer when data are processed in an EDP system. The stored
weights are read-only and cannot be deleted or changed.
