daughter. She goes to the kindergarten twice a week – on Monday and Friday.

Reading: Read Matt’s blog. Are the sentences after the text true or false?

1. ‘I live and I work in London.’

Answer:
The first sentence is not true because Matt works in London but doesn’t work
there.
The second sentence is true.
The third sentence is false because Matt says that he doesn’t speak Spanish
very well and he goes to Spanish lessons.

Miriam: I live in Auckland – It’s really nice there.

Miriam: I work in Wellington.
Tom: Wellington? But that’s so far away!
Miriam: Yes, I go to work three days a week – I fly.
Tom: Do you work at home?
Miriam: Yes, I work two days at home.
Tom: Are you married?
Miriam: Yes, my husband’s name is Bernardo.
Tom: Is he Brazilian?
Miriam: Yes, he is.
Tom: Ah, OK. Do you speak English or Portuguese at home?
Miriam: We speak Portuguese, of course!
