1 tin = 10 copper

1 tin = 1 day basic labour

1 tin 5 copper = 1 day craftsman's labour(trade guild specialist)

2 tin = 1 day master's labour(trade guild artisan)

cost of living:

-a room for the night at an average inn, including one meal, should be 10 copper

-10 copper should buy enough groceries to feed a family of 4 for three meals

-a single meal at a tavern should be 5 copper and drinks should be 1 copper beer, 2
copper wine, 3 copper good wine or spirits.

-renting a hide of land(about 2 acres) is 1 silver/year, or 60 days labour to the


land lord

-common clothing should be about 1 nickel for an outfit, with prices rising by
quality of goods and social status.

-shoes should be about 1 nickel per pair(cobbler made) lower castes will wrap their
feet in home made shoes. prices should rise by quality of work and social status.

tools and weapons will be individually priced. magic items will be extremely
expensive.

the average peasant makes a little over 3 and a half silver a year. prices for
buying land outright , within a city state are marked in gold coins. so owning land
is very rare and only for the extremely rich.
