NOTE: Due to the height of the all-thread, when converted to a coffee table, the height is a little high
(21") than a standard coffee table.

NOTE: You can use different size allthread (3/4", 1" etc) just make sure the fittings work with the
allthread.

8 - 2x4 @ 16-5/8" long (both ends cut at 15 degrees off square, ends ARE parallel, short point to long
point measurement)
4 - 2x6 @ 23-1/2" long
4 - 2x4 @ 5-3/8" long (both ends cut at 15 degrees off square, ends are NOT parallel, long point to
long point measurement)
4 - 2x4 @ 8-7/8" long (both ends cut at 15 degrees off square, ends are NOT parallel, long point to
long point measurement)
4 - 1x4 @ 23-1/2" long
General Instructions:
Please read through the entire plan and all comments before beginning this project. It is also
advisable to review the Getting Started Section. Take all necessary precautions to build safely and
smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards.
Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with
finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will
not take stain. Be safe, have fun, and ask for help if you need it. Good luck!

Attach legs to underside of 2x6, edges flush to outside of 2x6. We used 1-1/2" pocket holes and
2-1/2" pocket hole screws - very sturdy this way.

Attach top support - you may find it easier to drill out the hole for the all-thread before attaching the
supports.

Do the same for the lower support.

1x4s are set on top of the bottom support. Screws (2" length) or nail down.

Now the fun part - drill out the sawhorses - choose a drill bit a little bigger so it's easy to place the
all-thread in the holes. A longer bit would be easier, but with patience, you can use a standard drill
bit (we used a spade bit).
Insert the all thread into the holes, secure to underside of support with washer and nut. Also secure
to top of sawhorse with washer and nut. Attach flanges to top of all-thread. Then position 2x6 on top
of flanges and trace. Secure flanges to top 2x6 with screws.

Tabletop can then be attach to 2x6s.
Toliy used two layers of plywood to make his tabletop.
Finishing InstructionsPreparation Instructions: Fill all holes with wood filler and let dry. Apply
additional coats of wood filler as needed. When wood filler is completely dry, sand the project in the
direction of the wood grain with 120 grit sandpaper. Vacuum sanded project to remove sanding
residue. Remove all sanding residue on work surfaces as well. Wipe project clean with damp cloth. It
is always recommended to apply a test coat on a hidden area or scrap piece to ensure color
evenness and adhesion. Use primer or wood conditioner as needed.
