10 Mediterranean extra-European ones that signed the Barcelona
declaration. Coppem was representated by Mr. Michele Raimondi and Mr.
Francesco Sammaritano.
The Libyan delegation was invited to participate in the next Coppem
meetings in Istanbul and Palermo, although Libya is not a member of the
association.
In Caltagirone:
• Calatino Territorial Pact and Integrated Development Agency, with the participation
of the 14 mayors of the cities involved in the pact, the Consortium for industrial
development, Kalat-Ambiente, the company for management of the environment,
the Catania Provincial secretary for productive activities, the Local Integrated
Development Agency management. Reference people for the Italian part were
Elisabetta Caprioli (Agency director), and Marilena Samperi (president of the
Agency).
• Meeting with the director of the integrated Museum system of the area and visit to
Consortium for the industrial development.
