TECHNICAL INFORMATION Description of the operation
– Reprogram the injection computer in accordance
Customer complaint with Technical Note 3585A.
– Loss of power with or without OBD and/or injection Note: when reprogramming is complete, note down
warning light coming on. the codecal.
– Engine instability with or without OBD and/or WARNING
injection warning light coming on. Before reprogramming the injection computer, check
that the engine temperature is below 55 °C.
Possible cause
– Injection computer programming. – Check the condition of the catalytic converter as per
fault finding Technical Note 3504A, 3726A or 3753A.
Fault finding – Carry out a basic road test in order to reinitialise
– Confirm the customer complaint. programming.
– The diagnostic tool displays the following fault
code(s): CLAIM COMPLETION AND CODING
– DF102 (Oxygen sensor operating fault)
– DF106 (Catalytic converter operating fault) When to take action
– DF109 (Polluting combustion misfiring) – Upon receipt of a customer complaint.
– DF110 (Destructive misfiring)
Tooling required
– Check the internal part number of the injection
– CLIP installed with the latest update: tool CD
computer using the diagnostic tool.
