EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

• Data analysis is defined as a process of cleaning,

transforming, and modeling data to discover useful
information for business decision-making.
• The two primary methods for data analysis are
- qualitative data analysis techniques
-quantitative data analysis techniques.
INTRODUCTION
Data comes in different formats, and types, including the
following:
• Big data
• Structured/unstructured data
• Metadata
• Machine data
METHODOLOGY
Quantitative data analysis techniques

• Regression analysis: It is a type of statistical analysis

method that determines the relationships between
independent and dependent variables. In finance,
regression is defined as a method to help investment and
financial managers value assets and determine variable
relationships in commodity prices and stocks.
• Simple linear regression analysis: A simple linear
regression analysis formula includes a dependent variable
and an independent variable. The mathematical
representation of the dependent variable is typically Y,
while X represents the independent variable.
PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE TRENDS
Current Year Next Year
PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE TRENDS - FINDINGS &
IMPLICATIONS

Findings Implications

• Python, .net and C++ are top 3 this • Web development are still in high
year demand
• C and groovy are next in the row • Big Data technology in companies still
requires SQL
• PowerShell edged out in next year
• With AI and ML in rising demand,
Python is best choice
DATABASE TRENDS
Current Year Next Year
DATABASE TRENDS - FINDINGS &
IMPLICATIONS
Findings Implications

• Open-source databases are still preferable in

Sql server and Oracle are the companies
topmost • Multidatabase is on the top
Postgresql and elastic are the next • Redis supports abstract data types

MangoDB was the last

DISCUSSION
• Dashboards are the examples
that were created for part two of
this assignment
• It shows the dashboards for
quantity and sales trends for car
sales
• Different formulas were used to
check and create charts
CONCLUSION
• This shows that programming languages are
changing trends every year
• Python and java are the mist learnt and
used languages
• Sql and oracle are the accompanied
databases
APPENDIX
GITHUB JOB
POSTINGS
In Module 1 you have collected the job postings data using GitHub API in a file named
“github-job-postings.xlsx”. Present that data using a bar chart here. Order the bar chart
in the descending order of number of job postings.
POPULAR LANGUAGES

In Module 1 you have collected the job postings data using web scraping in a file named
“popular-languages.csv”. Present that data using a bar chart here. Order the bar chart in
the descending order of salary.
