Dear Mr. Bedoria:

Greetings from The BTTHS Student Council Organization!

The Student Council Organization of Bacolod Tay Tung High School continues to commit itself to deliver
quality activities that would provide holistic and enjoyable experiences to the Taytungian student body
and foster relationships amongst its members, peers, and the community. Anchored on its core values
of solidarity, subsidiarity, and leadership, the SCO upholds its mission and vision in creating future
leaders who are able to be critical thinkers, effective communicators, and socially responsible citizens.

The student council aims to create an avenue for students to be socially aware on the issues that are
relevant to them. Hence, the symposium entitled “Istorya” was created. With the theme for this session,
“Stresses and Struggles”, this aims to be able to learn some tips on how to overcome academic burnout
and have self-care for themselves. After much consultation with our Student Council Adviser, Sir Angelo
Cachero, who is also your classmate back then, it was unanimously advised that you would be the best
person fit for our symposium.

With this, we would like to invite you as our resource person to our symposium/talk on November 19,
2021 from 1:30-3:30pm via Zoom. We have arranged that the topic that you will discuss on will be on
"Surviving Online Classes and Academic Burnout: Self Care and Self Love". You will be given around 40 to
50 minutes, which excludes the open forum, for this talk that you may venture, which may include also
breakout rooms if needed and other activities you may prepare. The target audience of this would be
invited students from the Junior and Senior High School Level.

Your positive response will surely bring brand new insights and knowledge to the students of Bacolod
Tay Tung High School.

For further questions, please feel free to reach us at sco@btths.edu.ph or at 0966 852 9815.

Thank you very much.
