Also we have noticed how they discard proper way urine bags
collection in Al Mizan hospital, and we think that it’s not the
right healthy way.
Objectives:
Introduction
The way that nursing followed it in get rid from urine bag is wrong,
because the way that follow is one of three ways in the hospital:
1- First way is emptying the urine bag in the bathroom then throw
it (empty) in the medical waste box.(without perceptional
measurement)
2- Second way is throwing the urine bag in the waste box (not
medical waste )
3- Third way is emptying the urine bag in urinal then throwing it in
(empty in the medical waste)
1-The first way is wrong because it not right to emptying the urine bag
in the bathroom because it put the nurse who emptying the bag under
the danger to be affected by urine ( it may cause infection to the nurse
or the urine can splashing on his uniform making it dirty and
infected ).Although , this way may affect the patient because as I
mentioned the urine may splashing but not only on the uniform it may
splash on the walls or boxes in the bathroom ,so if the bathroom
doesn’t clean well the microorganisms maybe affect another patient
and cause nosocomial infection.
Purpose:
1. To protect the hospital from any violations by the ministry of
health or any official party responsible .
2. Protect patients and medical staff from infection and thus
protect it from liability
3. To maintain the reputation of the hospital in terms of health
services
4. To be ideal in terms of action and application of infection control
standards

Change theory:
Lewin’s theory
His most influencial theory was his model of the change process in
human systems.
Kurt Lewin theorized a three-stage model of change that is known
as the unfreezing-change-refreeze model that requires prior
learning to be rejected and replaced.
Lewin's theory states behavior as "a dynamic balance of forces
working in opposing directions. "
STAGES
Consists of three distinct and vital stages:
1. “Unfreezing”
3. “Refreezing”
4- Set plan .
Move (change)
REFREEZING
When the changes are taking shape and people have accept the new
ways of working, the organization is ready to refreeze. We go to
making sure that the changes are used all the time, and that they are
inserted into work . After implantation the new system we make sure
to do evaluation of new system.
