SUBJECT : Final Investigation Report, re Alleged Robbery with Rape

II. MATTERS INVESTIGATED:


3. Robbery with Rape incident that transpired on or about 1:00 am to 2:00 am of May 24, 2023,
along Kaakbayan Street, Brgy. Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City; and
4. To determine the criminal liability of the suspect and to know the premises surrounding this
particular incident.

III. FACTS OF THE CASE:

5. That on May 25, 2023 at more or less 1:00 A.M. to 2:00


A.M., a robbery with rape incident transpired along Kaakbayan Street, Brgy. Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa
City, wherein the victim was one MARIA y PRESTO CHAVEZ, 26 years old, born on February 5, 1998 at
native, resident of Brgy New Guinlo, Taytay, Palawan, 4 th year student of PSU, Puerto Princesa City and
temporarily residing at JM Boarding house, Kaakbayan Street, Brgy. Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, was
raped and robbed by one JEREMY y DIONG, 26 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Brgy.
Luzviminda, Puerto Princesa City. The victim was awakened when she noticed that there’s someone on
top of her and found out that she was already no shorts and panty while the suspect was pointing a
knife threatening to kill her if she refuse to have another round of sexual intercourse. The victim begged
him to go to the comfort room before she agreed where she fled away and seeks help to her board
mates. Investigation conducted revealed that respondent destroyed the wooden grills of the victim’s
room wherein the respondent use the wood that was dismantled from the wooden grills to open the
door, and thereafter entered inside the room. Moreover, respondent also stole victim’s wallet
containing 2,000 pesos, ID,s, receipts and her Samsung A22 5G cellphone. Latent print on the door knob,
and table, blood on the floor, and pubic hairs are recovered from the crime scene and were delivered to
Puerto Princesa City Crime Laboratory. The results matched to the person of the suspect. The suspect
surrendered himself to this station and he is now under the custody of this Police Office for investigation
and proper disposition.

6. Investigation conducted by this office disclosed that the motive of the incident emanated from
the suspect’s desire to obtain money for him to buy Marijuana, and in his admission, he averred that he
is under the influence of such drug.

7. Based on the attending forensic analyst Evelyn Martinez of Puerto Princesa City Crime
Laboratory, the latent print on the door knob, and table, blood on the floor, and pubic hairs are
matched to the person of one JEREMY y DIONG, 26 years old, single, jobless and a resident of
Brgy. Luzviminda, Puerto Princesa City.

8. On May 27, 2023 at about 10:30 am, the suspect admitted the crime and surrendered himself to
this office.

9. On May 28, 2023, a case of Robbery with Rape against the suspect was referred to the Office of
City Prosecutor, Puerto Princesa City and docketed under I.S. Number 13-0015 for final
disposition. Commitment Order was issued by the court and the suspect was subsequently
transferred to the BJMP City Jail, Brgy. Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City. The court recommended
no bail bond for the temporary liberty of the suspect.

IV. DISCUSSION
10. The suspect with taking advantage of superior strength, threatened the victim that he will kill
her
with the knife pointing to her if she refuse to have another round of sexual intercourse. With intent to
steal, the suspect destroyed the wooden grills of the victim’s room, use the wood that was dismantled
from the grills to open the door and entered the room and stole victim’s wallet and cellphone.

V. CONCLUSION
11. After a careful perusal surrounding this particular incident, probable cause exists that the herein
suspect is criminally liable, hence, the filing of robbery with rape against him is necessary.

VI. RECOMMENDATION
12. WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, the undersigned respectfully recommends that this case
be considered solved.
