I. The following MTech Programmes are offered through COAP: (1) Biotechnology (2) Bioengineering (3) Civil Engineering (4) Computer Science and Engineering (5) Chemical Engineering
(6) Electronics and Electrical Engineering (7) Mechanical Engineering (8) Data Science (9) Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (10) Biomedical Science and Engineering
a. The selections for Regular seats for GATE qualified candidates in the above-mentioned MTech programmes shall be offered through COAP based on their GATE score and other criteria,
if applicable. Such applicants have to follow the COAP schedule for accepting the offered seats. These candidates need not visit IIT Guwahati for the selection process. However, for
those candidates who opted Environmental Engineering Specialization of MTech in Civil Engineering as one of the choices, the Department of Civil Engineering will conduct a written test
as other criteria in addition to GATE score. Considering the composite score based on GATE score and written test marks, the seats for Environmental Engineering Specialization will be
offered through COAP.
b. The written test for Environmental Engineering Specialization of MTech in Civil Engineering will be held on 16 May 2023 at IIT Guwahati.
c. The selection process for Regular seats for IIT BTech candidates and for Non-Regular category candidates in the above-mentioned programmes shall be held during 15th -16th May
2023. Such applicants, who are shortlisted for selection process have to visit IIT Guwahati for written test and/or interview as per the modalities decided by the respective
Department/Centre/School, which are mentioned in the table below.

II. Selection process for the following programmes shall be held as per the details provided in the table below. The shortlisted candidates have to visit IIT Guwahati for written test and/or
interview as per the modalities decided by the respective Department/Centre/School.
